[0] was first talked about in Krista Kim’s New York Times Op-Ed last month, when she said that “a better Metaverse” was being built. Kim is working with interactive Emmy-winning and Academy Award-nominated producer Peter Martin (VALIS studio) to launch [0], an innovation lab and creative studio that is making lifelike digital people and immersive experiences in an open, interoperable Metaverse.
By making virtual experiences that will be available through 0.xyz when it launches in early 2023, [0] and its partners will act as a strategy and research and development lab for businesses that want to join the Metaverse and are looking to the future. The goal of [0] is to show off a brand-new open Metaverse. With its current focus on games, the Metaverse has a lot of untapped potential in other industries that can help grow a strong experience economy with creators. [0] wants to share the thoughts of well-known artists, creatives, scientists, and educators in order to make new kinds of digital spaces that put health, culture, and life-improving content first. By using the Metaverse as a platform for customized avatars, social interactions, spatial story-telling, and both meditative and personal enrichment programs, along with strong IP relationships, [0] will expand and scale virtual wellness programs by early 2023.
In [0], open, interoperable ecosystems will include both hyper-realistic avatars and the latest in virtual production. Leaders in the field, like The Third Floor, Blvck Pixel, CJ Olive Networks, M2 Studios, Spatial.io, Storyfile, WEVR, and VALIS Studio, have joined forces with [0] to build these strategic alliances. These production alliances will help [0] reach its goal of building a high-fidelity, interoperable Metaverse and allow all of [0]’s projects to be made in the most creative and innovative way possible. Through these meetings, Kim and Martin will start a new age of healing and well-being projects in the Metaverse.
