Adidas accused of “taking 6000ETH” from the NFT community, this is the reason they are wrong

Undoubtedly, Adidas is one of the largest companies to join the NFT world current year. Adidas’ first series, “Into The Metaverse”, grossed more than $23 million, but the NFT community is not exactly satisfy about that.

Actually, many Twitter influencers think that this giant sportswear manufacturer has taken 6,000 ETH from collectors. Moreover, a Twitter user disproved the myth, and showed how Adidas distributed the revenue among its partners.

Shortly, it was not, or at least not as reported by @economist, a Twitter user and NFT collector. In a last issue, he mentioned that Adidas has collected a total of 5,924 ETH (about $23.7 million) from its initial NFT drop. So,where did this money go?

Hence, the company retained 27% of its liquidity as ETH, USDC, and also other ERC-20 tokens. Clearly, the team will continue its journey on the NFT market using this profit.

Another 21% of sales went to the $PUNKS treasury, whereas 21% will go to Gmoney as well. This amount of money will may be used for future investments of digital currencies.

Besides, the BAYC also got 21% of sales, due to a cooperation between the two companies.
