Ape Fest is an event hosted by the Bored Ape Yacht Club and organized by BAYC team. ApeFest is accessible to BAYC and MAYC holders with a tokenproof app ticket (and one guest per ticket if it contains a +1). All participants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license, state identification card, or passport. It runs on Monday, June 20, Tuesday, June 21, Wednesday, June 22, and Thursday, June 23 from 5 to 10 p.m. Pier 17, an indoor/outdoor waterfront facility located at 89 South Street in New York City, hosts ApeFest.
ApeFest will conform to CDC, New York State, New York City, and Pier 17 COVID health and safety regulations. Their criteria may change as theirs do. This website will be kept up-to-date and Twitter updates will be sent to @BoredApeYC and @YugaLabs. Guests of ApeFest will be exposed to the new rules immediately.
Contribute to the safety of your fellow apes! Please do not attend ApeFest if you have tested positive, felt ill, or had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID in the weeks before the event. Pier 17 is an indoor and outdoor location. The rooftop is entirely exposed to the elements and will not be covered, regardless of the weather.
Everything is free for apes and their plus-ones, except merchandise: entrance, lunches inside and outside (at partner food trucks), refreshments, and more. There will be no need or need to purchase anything beforehand.
Our only official event is ApeFest, however on our Twitter account @boredapeyc, we will promote the best of what the community has to offer throughout that week.
How to get Tickets
Ticket requests begin at 9 a.m. ET on June 8 and end at 9 p.m. ET on June 9. They will work in order of arrival. Due to overwhelming demand, they cannot guarantee that everyone will get a ticket. The goal is for all holders and one guest per holder to be able to attend at least one of the four nights (ideally their top choice). Tickets are offered per individual rather than each BAYC or MAYC.
Once all available tickets for each date have been requested, or shortly after the request time closes, whichever comes first. Soon, further information will be accessible. Please note that deleting your BAYC/MAYC from your registered wallet would make it ineligible for ticketing.
How can I submit a request for tickets?
They worked with Tokenproof to authenticate and distribute tickets in a safe manner. To acquire tickets,
- Download the tokenproof app with confidence from the App Store or Google Play.
- Register for tokenproof using your BAYC or MAYC wallet at www.tokenproof.xyz/enrollment. This requires signing a message permitting tokenproof to verify that the wallet has a BAYC or MAYC token and accepting to the terms and conditions – there are no transaction or gas fees, and you are not enabling tokenproof to make transactions on your behalf.

- When the ticket window opens, you will be able to request tickets by linking your wallet and clicking “Request Tickets” on the website. Please note that deleting your BAYC/MAYC from your registered wallet would make it ineligible for ticketing.
There is no secondary market for ApeFest tickets, and selling +1 places is prohibited. Tickets were not designed to be transferred; thus, there is no secure way to do so.
What is Tokenproof exactly?
tokenproof is a token-gating mechanism that allows for the safe verification of token ownership. Tokenproof produces a legitimate account ownership certificate by linking the account to the tokenproof program on your mobile device, while the actual wallet remains disconnected. Once registered, tokenproof may validate your ownership of assets without ever connecting to your wallet. It will display an animated QR code for ApeFest that may be scanned by validators. Tokenproof is internationally accessible for download on the App Store and Google Play, except China.
You may enroll either before or after you book tickets. To get ticket notifications, you must be registered; thus, we advise you to subscribe as soon as possible.
ApeFest: If you or your +1 can’t attend ApeFest, please cancel your ticket so waitlisted apes can join
If you or your guest can’t make it to ApeFest, please cancel your ticket so that other apes on the waitlist can have a chance. Even if they cancel, attendees will still be able to shop in the store that is only for attendees. Plus a gift to thank you for watching out for your fellow apes.
When the attendee-only merch store opens, apes who cancel their +1’s ticket, their own ticket, or both tickets will be able to get this special shirt for free. They can also buy anything else in the merch store, even if they don’t attend any days.
During ApeFest, as tickets are canceled or +1 people don’t show up, push notifications will be sent to the apes in line, who will then get a new ticket. Keep an eye out for changes, and if you or your guest can’t make it, please cancel as soon as you know.

Under the ticket column of the tokenproof app, users who have been given tickets can see information about those tickets. Near the end of the ticketing information, you’ll see a link that lets you swap or cancel tickets.
When you ask to trade the ticketed day you were given for a different one, the old ticket will still be valid until the trade is confirmed. If a ticket is not available, the date from the last ticket will be used.
On the tokenproof app, all you have to do to cancel a ticket is send a request at the bottom of the ticket information. The current ticket will be taken away, and someone on the waitlist will get it instead. You can also cancel your guest’s reservation.
During ApeFest ’22, there will be a cancellation option that will let people on the waiting list get tickets on the day of the event. We strongly suggest that members cancel their tickets if they can’t go, so that people on the waitlist can go.
During ApeFest ’22, the line will stay open so that people can join in case someone cancels and they can get a ticket. Tickets can only be bought through the tokenproof app.

ApeFest ’22 was held at Pier 17, which was a new place. The area was changed from the front door all the way up to the roof.
There were many great vendors, like Dr. BombaySE, the bored taco, Bored NHngry, and Bored Breakfast, who fed and caffeinated the crowds.
