Andre Cronje Launches a New NFT Marketplace Called Artion on Fantom

The Artion NFT marketplace is available as a beta that works similarly to OpenSea. Because Artion NFT uses the Fantom blockchain, it is reportedly faster and cheaper than Ethereum-based OpenSea.

Additionally, contrary to other available NFT markets that take money for the platform, the Artion NFT market receives a zero sales fee. In addition, this platform has a low minting cost. There are currently over 50,000 NFTs in Artion, all of which are Fantom NFTs.

On the other hand, Artion costs only 1 FTM, which is about $1.3 during the NFT minting period on the Fantom blockchain. According to the report, the Artion market could even cost hundreds of dollars to mint NFTs through the Ethereum network.

Other than that, Artion does not limit its services just to the things mentioned above. Whereas, it now provides visual support for all available ERC-721 tokens. Finally, it will do this based on how it has been planned to work.

With this launching, Cronje’s side expectation is that many fintech’s will have to select Artion and build it for development. In addition, Cronje emphasized that he did not bring Artion as a challenge to OpenSea, but that he loves“ starting fires”. In addition, Cronje even tweeted a GIF on Twitter and said” This is not about money, it is about sending messages.
