Ankr collaborates with Microsoft to offer enterprise node services

As a result of the partnership, Web3 projects will have low-latency blockchain connections, allowing developers to concentrate on expanding their products.

Ankr, a provider of decentralized blockchain infrastructure, and Microsoft have joined together to launch a new node hosting service on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The technologies of the two companies will be integrated as part of the agreement. For instance, Microsoft’s cloud services will be coupled with Ankr’s blockchain architecture.

Ankr claims that the low-latency blockchain connectivity provided by the corporate node deployment service will allow Web3 projects to concentrate on growing their applications. The service can read or write data on the blockchain, relay transactions, and set up smart contracts.

According to Ankr, the company will be able to extend its transaction processes even further by sending Remote Procedure Call requests to the most appropriate nodes in an effective manner after upgrading its load balancer to employ Azure-based routing technologies. Clients will be able to manage node hosting options and select their own memory, bandwidth, and location for blockchain nodes all over the world thanks to the integration of technology. Ankr’s co-founder and CEO, Chandler Song, had the following to say about what transpired:

“The partnership, while an incredible milestone for Ankr, is also a key indicator of how far the decentralized web has come in integrating with the crucial players in every layer of web systems. The end result will be an era of extremely prolific building for blockchain-based applications from new Web3 projects as well as large enterprises entering the space.”

According to Rashmi Misra, general manager of AI and new technologies at Microsoft, “Many developers and businesses are interested in how Web3 may assist in resolving actual business issues. Their access to blockchain data will be secure, scalable, and reliable thanks to our relationship with Ankr.

On May 14, 2021, Microsoft had terminated its Azure Blockchain Service without providing a formal explanation. The American tech juggernaut outlawed bitcoin mining on its cloud services on December 15, 2022, citing the necessity to safeguard its online services from threats like cybercrime, assaults, and illegal access to user data.
