AR VR NFTs “Death Merchant” launch on Terra Virtua

NFT collections by renowned digital artist, John Taylor Dismukes are presently available live on the NFT platform, Terra Virtua. The artist transformed his original painting, ‘Death Merchant’, into a collection of AR and VR NFTs in 1982. The NFTs will be offered as four drops every month on Terra Virtua.

“AR / VR collectibles are a whole new frontier for artists, particularly when augmented reality provides people the opportunity to live and breathe a piece of work,” Dismukes said. “Sharing my art in this way is something I have wanted to do all my life. Platforms such as Terra Virtua give artists a great opportunity to participate in this new frontier community, and we are so eager to be a part of it.

With so long time of experience, Dismukes began concentrating on digital art over thirty years ago. He initially worked as an illustrator in Hollywood, particularly, in the music and entertainment industries. It is noteworthy that he has created airbrush paintings for top legends such as Steppenwolf, The Grateful Dead, Megadeath, and Foreigner. In addition, he has created logos, posters, and merchandise for a wide range of Hollywood films like Mad Max, Transformers, Jurassic Park, and Star Trek. Dismukes has worked in the video game industry together with giants such as Epic Games.

Presently, he is entering the NFT world to give his fans a new way to get his works. To achieve this, he recreated ‘Death Merchant’ as a special AR VR NFT series. The collectibles will be accessible in four of several themes: earth, wind, fire and water. The initial of the four NFT drops is of the fire element that has “a fiery artwork asset yellow issues”. These will be available in six rarities.
