Lamborghini, Porsche, and Chevrolet are among the automakers now participating in the NFT (non-fungible token) game. Aston Martin, which produced its inaugural NFT collection in partnership with The Tiny Digital Factory, joins them for the first time. Beginning on December 18, a total of 3,000 NFTs will be available.
Tiny Digital Factory is a developer and publisher, as well as the company that created Infinite Drive. It is a mobile-first NFT racing platform and car enthusiast’s metaverse that enables the collection of automobiles from the industry’s most popular and respected brands. In conjunction with its new partnership with the British manufacturer, the company will introduce three spectacular vehicles to the mobile universe.
The first NFT collection from Aston Martin has the current Vantage V8, the Vantage GT3 race car, and the Vantage V8 from 1980, which appeared in the fifteenth James Bond film, the living daylights. The initial wave of NFT cars, totaling 3,000 units, will go live on December 19 (whitelist) and December 19 public release (general sale). All three vehicles will be available for purchase and competition on the Polygon blockchain in the next-generation Infinite Drive mobile metaverse.
Aston Martin promises that each NFT is made to look just like its real-world equivalent. Best of all, you can use these virtual cars in the iOS and Android closed alpha of the Infinite Drive metaverse. In the alpha, NFT owners can look at their collections and race against each other on tracks that have been officially licensed. The full game will be free to play on iOS and Android starting in 2023. It will have an NFT marketplace, seasonal events, and a setting where players can rent out their cars to other players.
“It’s really remarkable [our] The vision has resonated so strongly with one of the world’s leading car manufacturers in Aston Martin – so much so that they have chosen to launch their first NFT cars with us,” commented Stéphane Boudet, founder and CEO of Tiny Digital Factory. “We are still early in our journey, but we are confident that Infinite Drive will become a poster child for meaningful uses of Web3 technology in gaming and collectible digital assets.”
