An NFT version of the well-known Bed Intruder Song meme has been sold to @richerd for more than 6 ETH on the NFT Foundation marketplace. It is currently priced at $17,000 at the time of writing.
Antoine Dodson was interviewed by a local news station, and he stated, “Hide yo kids, hide yo wife,” after the arrest of a criminal, named “Bed Intruder” in Madison County, Alabama, who found a man in Kelly Dodson’s bed. This became a meme and has been used in videos since its announcement in the early 2010s. After the main meme, a song was made called ‘Bed Intruder Song’. The song was released on August 6, 2010, and was written by Antoine Dodson and The Gregory Brothers. The original music video went viral and became the most famous YouTube video of 2010. Presently, the number of views reached more than 151 million.
Presently, Dodson has used his previous reputation with the release of an NFT on the Foundation platform. The NFT was sold a few days ago for more than 6 ETH, or $17,000, to NFT renowned Influencer, Richard. This is NFT 1/1, so it is the only version that will be available. Actually, on foundation incomes can be divided, in this case, 30 percent went to the Gregory brothers, 40 percent to Antoine Dodson, and 30 percent to another nameless wallet.
