The Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) Wallet will now support token swaps on BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain) and Avalanche (AVAX-USD), “enabling you to swap a larger spectrum of tokens than on most traditional centralized exchanges,” according to the company. It currently supports these networks in addition to Ethereum (ETH-USD) and Polygon (MATIC-USD).
“Coinbase (COIN) Wallet’s in-app DEX (decentralized exchange) makes it easy to access these types of tokens through its trading feature, which compares rates across multiple exchanges through the Ox API,” the company added.

More networks will be available in the coming months, and Coinbase (COIN) will add network bridging capability, allowing users to move tokens across several networks.

According to the cryptocurrency exchange, more than $1T was transacted on DEXs in 2021, up 858 percent from 2020.

Polygon (MATIC-USD) was added to BTCS’ (BTCS) blockchain infrastructure operations in April.
