Coca-Cola Pride collection NFTs

Coca-Cola Pride collection NFTs

Coca-Cola is celebrating International Pride Day with the announcement of the Coca-Cola Pride series of NFTs. In fact, these limited edition digital collectibles are live starting today. In addition, Coca-Cola will donate all the earnings from primary and secondary sales to the LGBTQIA+ community organization, OUT.

About Coca-Cola Pride series of NFTs

Coca-Cola collaborated with Rich Minsi to create the artwork for the Pride series. Minsi is a well-known South African fashion designer and a prominent campaigner for African LGBTQIA rights. Besides, Coca-Cola partnered with creative agency Vice’s Virtue, and the digital collectible studio Tafi as well.

As mentioned before, the Coca-Cola NFTs have a special charitable component. That means, all proceeds will be donated to OUT as part of the Global Pride Day celebration. Minsi indeed chose the charity partner for the initial year of the project.

To explain, OUT is South Africa’s second-oldest organization providing the LGBTQIA+ community. It offers both physical and psychological health care for people.

Currently, the limited edition of 136 NFTs is available on the Coca-Cola Pride Collection website. Majorly, purchasers will mint on the Polygon network. Thus, NFT purchasers will enjoy lower transaction fees and a much lower environmental impact. Finally, the NFTs are available for the 335 MATIC ( about $150 presently).

Above all, this is not Coca-Cola’s initial move in the NFT world. Actually, the company has issued different NFTs previously. Its major partner for its recent collectibles has been VeVe Marketplace. Earlier, Coca-Cola released NFTs to celebrate World Friendship Day last year. That drop was done with the Decentraland metaverse platform.
