Dour Darcels, the first highly successful NFT community project, is releasing a series of 10k fashion-focused NFTs. Officially, the new ‘Dour Fits’ series, features the iconic cyclopean avatar, in a range of and trendy outfits.

The Dour Darcels NFT ecosystem is growing quickly

The Dour NFTs, created by New York artist Craig Redman, is very popular. ‘Darcel Dissapoints’ iconic avatar has previously cooperated with household brands like Adidas, IKEA, and Coca-Cola. This new series of fashionable NFTs has arrived to take its place on the ETH blockchain.

Though the initial NFT series just appeared in the NFT space in March, Darcel Disappoints, has been around for more than ten years, featuring life in New York. The character has been published around the world, involving in The New York Times, Vogue, and his book ‘One Year in New York’.

This is Dour Darcels third NFT series until now. Additionally, the NFT characters are bright, colorful, and 2D, in the exclusive style of Darcel Disappoints.

Commenting on the new NFT collection, Craig Redman said: “Fashion has always played an important role in Darcel’s personality, so creating a series based on that – expressing his taste and cultural references – is actually interesting to me. Fashion and art will become more intwined in the future in the Web3. I am excited to create something with that in mind.”

Fashion NFT utility

Awesome and colorful NFT avatars will be part of virtual outfit packs for a future Dour Darcels NFT blockchain fashion game (named Dour Fits as well) in the wider Dour ecosystem.

Ultimately, the game, created by Adam Johnson (officially Apple), is set to be released during New York Fashion Week.
