Nurmagomedov and Holloway will get to fight again almost five years after their UFC fight didn’t work out. They won’t be fighting in an octagon or ring, but they will still be able to fight.
For the first time in almost five years, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway will fight in a unique boxing match. Their UFC title fight was called off in 2013.
Champion Nurmagomedov and UFC featherweight Holloway will fight on Saturday night in a boxing match that will take place in a place called the metaverse.
When Nurmagomedov and Holloway fight, they won’t be in a real ring but in a virtual one that people can get into through the internet.
Earlier this month, Nurmagomedov announced his partnership with the Legion Farm gaming platform. This made it seem like there would be a fight in the metaverse.
Holloway said that he would fight Nurmagomedov in the first fight in the metaverse, and he said that he was going to do it.
If you want to watch the “fight,” you’ll have to be the owner of a Legionfarm NFT. With more metaverse “events” like this one coming up, the “quality” of a fan’s NFT will decide what they can do.
