Commercial Bank International said that it is the first bank in the UAE to open a virtual location in the Metaverse.

CBI, a corporate and retail bank in the UAE, is the first bank in the UAE and one of the first early adopter institutions in the Middle East to launch a virtual Metaverse site in Decentraland, a popular blockchain-based environment.

The CEO of CBI, Ali Sultan Rakkad Al Amri, said, “We are proud to be the first bank in the UAE and one of the first innovative banks in the Middle East to bring the Metaverse experience to our customers and people.” “We think this shows how much we support and believe in the country’s goal of being a leader in innovation around the world.”

The next step in the growth of the digital consumer experience is the Metaverse. It’s a virtual place where people can use digital avatars to talk, explore, and use services.

The Metaverse is built on cutting-edge technologies like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and blockchain.

The planned launch of CBI’s Metaverse will happen at the same time as the UAE’s strong commitment to building a digital economy that uses blockchain technology, virtual assets, artificial intelligence, and mixed reality technologies in both business and everyday life.
