Alexandra Ford, announcing to explore digital branding opportunities, in a recently created role for the family member of the company’s title.
Ford stated that the company will utilize its brand power to sell people things without wheels. Things which will be selling include merchandise like clothes and products you don’t even have the idea you need like NFT.
Alexandra Ford says” Anywhere you move around the world, definitely you see eager Ford fans and we like to offer them an exciting collection of goods, accessories, and probably digital products like NFTs as well”. She added, ” I’m so enthusiastic for this chance to create new approaches for people to link with Ford brand and develop the business.”
Ford shares rose 48 cents, or 3.45% to $14.26 in afternoon trading.
Earlier this month, Ford announced that it will increase its production capacity of the F-150 Lightning electric pickup to 80,000 a year due to high demand.
The company had earlier planned the production of more than 40,000 vehicles by 2024. This car will be sold next spring
