One NFT from the very first FTX-Tomorrowland NFT collection is offered to festival attendees.
Tomorrowland and FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange, have joined forces. It’s the big Belgian music festival that draws over 400,000 people every year. As a consequence of this event, the new pair will provide crypto tickets options as well as NFT distribution to visitors.
Michael Beers, the co-founder of Tomorrowland, feels the FTX partnership aligns with their principles.
“it’s within the DNA of Tomorrowland to never stop pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation,” Beers says.
As part of the arrangement, Tomorrowland’s Winter Festival will be presented as a new magical experience. With this in mind, they strive to present their global community with the most one-of-a-kind experiences imaginable.
Beginning on March 19th, the event will feature crypto-related highlights.
FTX-NFT Tomorrowland’s Collection
Organizers have prepared 6,500 NFTs for Tomorrowland’s first collection. “A Letter from the Universe” is the name of the group.
Among other things, a special feature called “The Quest” will allow guests to collect the first 1,500 NFTs. Every day, 250 winners will each get one NFT from the new collection.
Each festival day, the first 125 winners will also get exclusive access to a hidden display.
“It’s exciting to see the continued blending of crypto, music, and events,” said FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
Tomorrowland History
Tomorrowland was founded by two Belgian brothers in 2005. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have visited the festival.
The theme of this year’s event is “The Beginning of a New Tale with FTX.” Tomorrowland expressed it this way on a new NFT-focused website.
On March 26, the remaining 5,000 NFTs from Tomorrowland’s first collection will be available for public purchase.
