Glenfiddish is releasing 15 bottles of $18K whiskey with NFT, and blockchain technology is carrying on their rise, it seems as it is just question of time until both are completely fixed throughout the society, containing in the whiskey’s world. In May, Irish distillery Kinsale get in the NFT game by placing a 200-liter cask presented by an NFT up for auction.
All the tokens shows a physical bottle of Glenfiddich 1973. The NFT is actually a digital receipt which the purchaser’s buying and the authenticity of the whiskey.
Purchasers can sell again or transfer their NFT through the BlockBar platform at any time they like.
They are able also to redeem the NFT for the physical bottle.
Glenfiddich 1973 was completed for 21 years in Armagnac cask. It is bottled at 43.9% ABV
