On January 31, the Bored Ape Yacht Club#232 sold for 1080.69ETH ($2.72 million) on the NFT trading platform LooksRare, which is based on Ethereum.
A report says the buyer would get about 6550 LOOKS (about 27,000 USD), although the seller will save 5.5 Eth and get 6550 LOOKS, which means the seller will get about 40,800 USD much from this transaction.
Features of the Ape NFT that was bought include an army green background, a seaman’s hat on the head, a smoking jacket, sleepy eyes, a clean bored mouth, and solid gold fur. It is one of the most rare NFTs in the collection.
In furthermore, the collection has shown a huge surge in sales in the last 7 days after Ethereum’s recent drop.
BAYC is also breaking a lot of other records at the same time. As of May 2021, when the collection was first released, it was worth at least $297,000. That’s the most it’s been worth since then in ETH-based money.
