Slipknot a heavy metal music band has collaborated with The Sandbox to bring a Knotverse club into the ecosystem. Together, they will create a unique meeting place for heavy music culture in the metaverse. Slipknot seeks to bring their “Knotfest” festival into the world of metaverse with the collaboration.
Knotverse will host a bunch of Web3 experiences like exclusive NFTs, gaming, productive series’, new music and more.
Slipknot seems to be the best metaverse platform which matches their vision. The Knotfest is usually a “dark carnival of them”, and they will work hard with the Sandbox group to recreate it in the metaverse.
Slipknot chooses to host its Knotverse on Sandbox
As mentioned earlier, the Sandbox team will work closely with Slipknot to improve these “lands” in their digital ecosystem. Another artist who is currently partnering with Sandbox is Snoop Dogg. He has a mass of land where he intends to host metaverse concerts.
Slipknot lately stated that they “listen, watch and go where their fans lead them.” This change and movement towards the metaverse has attracted the attention of groups. In addition, they aim to interact with their fans and build closer relationships. They feel that creating Knotverse in Sandbox is the best way to do this.
The future of the metaverse festivals and concerts is fully interactive. The big event that comes to mind is when Marshmello performed a virtual concert during the Fortnite World Cup.
