Houston has Down Syndrome, a genetic disorder. Houston couldn’t breathe, had jaundice, weak muscle tone, a hole in his heart, required open-heart surgery, and had Down syndrome. Each expert gave a long list of never-dos. After all, Houston is a world-traveling vacation photographer! By the age of 23, he had visited all 95 Tennessee counties, 49 US states, five Canadian provinces, and 26 nations.
Due to Down syndrome’s low muscle tone, his speech may be difficult to comprehend. He can explain himself via images without saying anything. He obtained his Certificate of Photography in 2019 and his Advanced Photography Certificate in 2020 from the University of Tennessee Professional Programs. SANP and the International Travel Writers and Photographers Alliance are among his affiliations (ITWPA). His images have aided both local and global humanitarian efforts.
