/PRNewswire/ — SINGAPORE, Oct. 4, 2022 — Hugo, a well-known global fashion brand, today said that it will work with Imaginary Ones, a renowned Web 3.0 firm, to create a comprehensive, 360-degree metaverse experience. With this collaboration, HUGO advances significantly in its investigation of the metaverse, and the introduction of its first-ever NFT collection in 2022 will be a key turning point in the brand’s worldwide relaunch.
Beginning in early November, a special 1,001 3D animation collection from HUGO x Imaginary Ones NFT dubbed “Embrace Your Emotions” (EYE) will be released. The collection’s goal is to inspire people to connect with their emotions and to spread the message that all emotions, positive and negative, are legitimate and should be accepted because having the freedom to feel and express oneself has a positive impact on one’s mental health and general wellbeing.
Six of the 1,001 NFTs will have unique characteristics. Five characters stand in for five common emotions: love, fear, sadness, and anger. The collection’s humorous plot will also support a good cause since on October 10, World Mental Health Day, a special sixth figure who embodies all five emotions will be auctioned, with all proceeds going to Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM). This research-based programme on mental health invites kids between the ages of 13 and 17 to learn about and investigate the subject. It has been tested with more than 85,000 teenagers in 16 different countries.
Access to the HUGO x Imaginary Ones EYE collection and the ability to buy the NFTs will be made possible by an allowlist. 500 of the 1,000 available spaces on the allowlist will go to consumers who buy an unique phygital T-shirt. There are 500 of these limited-edition t-shirts available for purchase, and each one has a QR code that leads users to a Snapchat Lens to produce an exclusive augmented reality effect.
From October 4 forward, Imaginary Ones will give the remaining 500 allowlist slots to current owners of the company’s genesis NFT collection and through a variety of events on its Twitter and Discord platforms.

All owners of a HUGO x Imaginary Ones NFT will have access to the Imaginary Ones staking ecosystem, which gives the holder a separate set of exclusive HUGO x IO goods, experiences, and content, including digital HUGO wearables and HUGO-themed Imaginary Ones drops, in addition to receiving a “golden ticket” for a 10% discount in the HUGO online store.
In the future, HUGO and Imaginary Ones will look at a number of strategies to deepen their collaboration and give collection owners further benefits, such as special experiences in the metaverse.
