Indonesian teen wins award for utilizing NFTs to donate to charity


Sixteen-year-old Indonesian teenager, Rainier Wardhana Hardjanto, has been honored with a major award for his ongoing NFT donation to charity. The Indonesian Museum of World Records (MURI) awarded Rainier his record-breaking certificate for his work using NFT donations to aid disabled communities across Indonesia. His website, Art n Me, has raised more than 550 M rupees ($5,000) in donations.

He has raised over $5,000 via his website, focusing on Down syndrome charities. The art was created primarily by Rainier, his friends, artists from the disabled community, and children from local orphanages. Besides, Indonesian teenager Rainier donated nine of his paintings using NFT technology to charities. In addition, this work will be given for the creation of an educational center for children with Down syndrome.
