John Geiger turns his Nike lawsuit into NFT

John Geiger has not hidden his legal battle with Nike, and the designer is now trying to turn the brand’s lawsuit against him into an NFT.
His iconic label has revealed the release of the JG Lawsuit NFT. The NFTs will be accessible in gold, silver and bronze versions. These digital images will contain a copy of Nike’s lawsuit against Geiger, and the John Geiger GF-01 sneakers.
In August 2021, Nike added Geiger to a lawsuit which primarily filed against shoe manufacturer La La Land Production. Since then, La La Land has apparently provided Geiger with sneakers similar to the Nike Air Force 1. According to the complaint, some elements of the commercial clothing violated that product.
In November 2021, a movement to discharge was arranged in a Central District Court of California. Meanwhile, Geiger’s lawyers stated that the designer’s GF-01 sneakers did not complete trademark violation or unfair competition for Nike.
The request was rejected by the court on February 8.

As stated by John Geiger Discord, just one gold JG NFT will be minted, and it will come with a gold GF-01 art piece, besides a lawsuit signed by Geiger. There will be 3 silver and 1 bronze, with each coming with art pieces signed lawsuits.
