Keanu Reeves “Metaverse is dystopian” and discovers NFTs hilarious

Keanu Reeves, one of Hollywood’s biggest and most popular stars, has downplayed the metaverse and made fun of the NFTs concept in a video posted on Twitter and YouTube.

As part of an interview with the Verge, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss dealt with the Matrix interactive experience that is being announced as a part of the new Matrix movie.

When the concepts of NFTs and the metaverse were introduced, Keanu Reeves and his teammate started laughing.
He commented:” The content is simply replicated.”

“The Matrix” actor also agreed that he could meet a friend around the world in a metaverse casino to be attractive, despite his public opinion about metaverse and NFTs.

His ideas changed when he humorously asked if he and Moss had a cut of the incomes.
Despite this, Reeves is not unfamiliar with blockchain and crypto technologies. He stated that he owns some digital currency which a friend purchased him, but keeps for a long time. He has no plans to sell or trade actively yet.
