Korea’s Klaytn collaborates with Animal Concerts to bring K-pop to the metaverse


On Monday Klaytn, the Korean Blockchain, has announced that it has partnered with Animal Concerts. Klaytn expects Animal Concerts help it to increase the volume of NFTs that are traded on its blockchain. Klaytn is one of the three exclusive blockchain networks under the support of OpenSea, the biggest NFT marketplace.

In order to perform and run the partnership, Animal Concerts will organize concerts in the metaverse. It will promote the performances so customers experience a new side of entertainment. Animal Concerts is going to issue crypto tokens and NFTs to record them for artists and creators.

The CEO of Animal Concerts, Colin Fitzpatrick mentioned that NFTs are new form to bring the music industry to life after the COVID-19 pandemic that it caused lots of artists confront the cancellations of their concerts. Although in metaverse they never have unforeseen cancellations. Furthermore they can reduce their touing expenses.

Since Klaytn’s goal is being exposed to metaverse and NFT, it will be a perfect match.
