Lacoste, the French crocodile brand, enters Web3 with NFT


Even though this is Lacoste’s first Web3 project, it is interesting to note that it has already been tried out in the digital world. This is shown by a partnership with Minecraft from March of last year.

René Lacoste, a famous tennis player, started the company in 1933 with a polo shirt called L.12.12. The brand encourages people to keep up with the latest technological and cultural changes. Because of this, the blockchain world is the next step in its growth.

In fact, this is something that many brands have been doing more and more of over the past year. In fact, they announce the start of their NFT project or their arrival in the metaverse through different partnerships with players in our ecosystem.

With this new project, Lacoste has access to new tools that can help it reach a wider audience and reach more people. In turn, the brand joins the ranks of companies that have fully understood how the blockchain world can help them grow.
