Leeds United Football Club releases an NFT series for Ukraine

Leeds United Football Club has just introduced an NFT series – Shirts for Ukraine, which proceeds go to Ukraine. The British Football Club joins a list of other prominent figures and institutions which have generated NFTs to back humanitarian action in Ukraine.

About Leeds United Football Club

Leeds United is a British football club located in Leeds. The club has won several prestigious titles, containing three English League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup. The Leeds team plays in all-white kits at home matches. Its official symbol is the symbol of Yorkshire White Rose of York.

The NFTs of Leeds United Football Club have the unique “no war” shirts worn before the club’s game against Manchester City. All the NFTs are in the form of a card that shows the front and back of the player’s shirt and his signature. In addition, each NFT is one-of-one, meaning that just one of each NFT will be available at this special time.

Plus the NFT, holders can access physical rewards. These contain two hospitality tickets for the Leeds and Brighton match, a field tour with the Club’s legends, and the possibility to attend a free practice session. The NFTs are presently available on Makersplace. People who are interested do not need crypto wallets to mint these NFTs, though ETH is accepted.

Lately, the Ukrainian government released a website to get NFT and crypto donations. This series has 303 NFTs until now.
