Mac Cosmetics releases their first NFT collection

The beauty brand Mac Cosmetics has cooperated with world-well known artist Keith Haring to release their first NFT series. The important thing is that this is the initial cosmetics brand to access the space in an absolutely charitable way.

The series is called Viva Glam x Keith Haring and all sale income from the initial sale will go to the Mac Viva Glam Fund. The fund supports the LGBTQ + community and people living with or influenced by HIV / AIDS.

The series will be accessible on OpenSea on April 10. This will include three various levels of NFTs. The pricing structure of the NFT series has three levels. Prices differs from $25 to $1,000, with the top price being a supply of 25 first-class “icons”.

Mac’s NFT series is a developing of the physical partnership with Keith Haring. Regarding NFTs, Consensys (MetaMask) ensures that they can be purchased with a credit or debit card.

Mac Cosmetics Viva Glam program has raised more than $500,000,000 worldwide. This series will also be the 27th gift program. “Allowing consumers to help the needy without having to purchase a physical lipstick, is the next step for the brand after 28 years of giveback”. Mac Cosmetics said in an announcement.

Less than two weeks ago, Rihanna’s beauty brand, Fenty, revealed that they would be stepping into metaverse. Mac Cosmetics goes on to say that there appears to be an activity towards virtual cosmetics and products.

Mac Cosmetics thinks that everyone should enter to NFTs and the metaverse. They wish to continue to use their platform to diversify their community via Web3.
