Recently, PokedStudio boosted the popularity of Internet Computer (ICP) NFTs after recording a main NFT sale due to Master Bot NFT. The UK-based graphic design company announced 10,000 digital bots, and one of the NFTs newly earned $172,000. This is a big win for the Dfinity Foundation’s ICP protocol, as it was the first time ICPunks was launched last September.
The NFT series is PokedStudio’s initial attempt into the metaverse. It presents digital bots categorized Animal Bot, Battle Bot, Industrial Bot, Food Bot, Game Bot, Wild Bot and Dead Bot. Nevertheless, the crown jewel of the line-up is the last Master bot. The rarity of this bot is the major reason it sells for 3000 ICP or approximately $172000.
As promised by the ICP the time it started, the NFTs do not consume Proof-of-Work’s energy. On the other hand, it released its own NFT marketplace under the name Entrepôt. This is the initial platform on ICP’s blockchain and joins Stoic, ICP’s proprietary wallet to the app. Through this, users are able to add funds to the wallet, and click the purchase button.
