The current week, McLaren Automotive revealed plans to release NFTs of its well-known supercars. The British automaker enlisted the help of Infinite World, a company which helps brands create their metaverse and Web3 products. Mainly, this makes the initial official metaverse cooperation of the luxury car brand.

McLaren NFTs initial product of Infinite World cooperation

Basically, McLaren stepped into a new collaboration to enhance its customers’ digital experience. Actually, the main point of this is that McLaren fans can mint the main NFTs of the company’s supercars.

In addition, these NFTs can also bring special benefits to fans which only purchasers can access. Obviously, McLaren will also release a marketplace where fans can purchase and sell the NFTs.
“This appealing new collaboration uses Infinite World’s leading expertise to create and deliver a wide range of digital content on the McLaren marketplace,” said Gareth Dansmore, McLaren’s senior marketing director.

While this is the initial NFT play from McLaren Automotive, the brand is not entirely new to NFTs. To demonstrate, its Formula One team entered the space in the middle of last year. In fact, in June 2021, McLaren Racing released an NFT platform on the Tezos blockchain. Additionally, it afterward allowed fans to create their own‌ digital racing cars NFTs.
