Mintable Now Supports NFT Transactions and XRP Ledger Mining

Mintable, a leading NFT marketplace and minting platform, has introduced support for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a fast and energy-efficient blockchain for tokenizing assets. Users will be able to purchase, sell, and mint NFTs on the XRPL with more security, convenience, and cost effectiveness. Mintable will collaborate with Ripple, the market leader in corporate blockchain and crypto solutions, to facilitate the construction of high-quality NFT projects and provide a no-code solution for independent creators on the XRPL.

While there are presently other blockchain alternatives to Ethereum in the ecosystem, designers and developers can take advantage of the XRPL’s long-standing dependability to enable settlement and liquidity of tokenized assets at scale. A global developer community oversees the XRPL, which provides a stable and adaptable open-source base for numerous use cases. With over a decade of uninterrupted service, the XRPL has served as a dependable foundation for a multitude of applications, including payments, tokenization, and now NFTs.

“The XRPL is a valuable addition to the NFT ecosystem. It is a battle-tested and highly secure blockchain that will help overcome NFT adoption barriers related to security and environmental concerns,” said Patrick Chin, CMO of Mintable. “Ripple works with some of the biggest companies in the world, and will be bringing a suite of valuable partnerships to the NFT ecosystem. We are excited to join their ranks as Ripple’s NFT partner, to help with their NFT initiative and to introduce one of the most secure, sustainable and efficient blockchains to the NFT ecosystem.”

“For over 10 years, the XRP Ledger has been a trusted blockchain of choice for developers due to its security, speed and scalability of tokenizing assets,” said Emi Yoshikawa, VP of Strategy and Operations at Ripple. “We are excited to partner with Mintable to help bring in new creators and projects building innovative Web3 projects with real utility to the XRP Ledger.”

As part of their relationship with Ripple, Mintable will also assist Creator Fund awardees in bringing their NFTs to market on the XRP Ledger.

Mintable is a utility-focused marketplace with each feature geared to enhancing the experience of NFT trading. Mintable, the industry’s leading technology platform, has pioneered gasless minting, batch minting, and credit card transactions of NFTs. In 2021, Mintable announced a roster of high-caliber investors, including prominent venture capitalist and media personality Mark Cuban, Sound Ventures, a venture capital firm founded by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary, and TIME Ventures, Marc Benioff’s investment fund. Mintable has sold and auctioned works by Grammy Award-winning artists, avant-garde artists of the 20th century, and different high-profile artists and celebrities to date.

In addition to the Marketplace, Mintology, a provider of NFT solutions for enterprises, is also part of the Mintable ecosystem.

XRP Ledger

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is a Layer 1 blockchain that is open source, public, and decentralized. It is run by a global community of developers. It works well, uses little energy, and is quick. It has been the best blockchain for more than ten years to settle and sell tokenized assets on a large scale. With easy development, low transaction costs, and a knowledgeable community, it gives developers a strong open-source foundation for even the most difficult projects, without changing the XRPL’s lean and efficient feature set. XRPL makes it possible for a wide range of services and uses, such as payments, decentralized finance, and tokenization.
