Because of its massive sales, Moonbirds, a non-fungible token (NFT) collection, has sparked a lot of debate among the NFT community. According to data, the Moonbirds NFT project started selling six days ago, on April 16, and sales have totaled $364.83 million since then. As you know Jimmy Fallon recently joined Moonbirds.

This week, Moonbirds, a new NFT collection, outsold the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), and Cryptopunks collections. The 10,000 Moonbirds NFTs have only been traded for five days, but they have already generated $364.83 million in sales volume.

This week, Moonbirds is the most popular NFT collection, outselling dozens of others. Moonbirds sales accounted for approximately 37.85 percent of total NFT sales of $963.8 million in the previous week.

Moonbirds has been recommended by Proof Collective, a group of well-known NFT collectors, making it a popular collection. Investor Gary Vaynerchuk and Beeple, a well-known NFT musician, are among the group’s members.

According to its website, Proof Community is an “exclusive members-only collective of 1,000 committed NFT collectors and artists.” Proof Collective’s membership fee is currently set at around 108 ethereum. Proof Collective was founded by Justin Mezell, Kevin Rose, and Ryan Carson.

Following the completion of the Moonbirds public mint, sales of the NFT collection have skyrocketed, with the NFT collection having the highest sales volume on Opensea this week. Moonbirds has had 11,170 buyers out of 14,723 transactions in the last five days. Moonbirds aren’t cheap; three of them were among this week’s top five most expensive NFT sales.

According to cryptoslam.io statistics, Moonbird #2819 sold for 182.44 ether or $562K about 18 hours ago. Moonbird #1210 sold for the same price as Moonbird #8249, which sold for 175 ether or $547K around six hours before this post was published. At the time of writing, Moonbirds had around 6,512 owners, according to metrics. The floor value of the pixelated bird collection has also increased by 61.1 percent in the previous 24 hours, reaching 33 ether.

Moonbirds NFTs have experienced a 24-hour trade volume of 15,711.94 eth, or $48.1 million. The market capitalization of the 10,000 individual Moonbirds is around 330,000 eth or somewhat more than $1 billion in USD worth.
