The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is intensifying day by day. A few days ago, Ukraine’s official Twitter account shared a Bitcoin and an ETH address to get crypto donations. Donors can use this information to aid Ukrainians via BTC, ETH, or USDT. Murat Pak responded to the call, and donated 670 ETH to the wallet. At the time of writing, the donation amounts are about $1.7 million.

The donation comes from Murat Pak’s Censored NFT series. The digital artist has cooperated with WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, to finish the project. This series is in line with WikiLeaks’ goal of releasing leaked news and classified media, which often includes large databases of censored and restricted content. The platform regularly specializes in areas that revolve around war, espionage and corruption.

This NFT project appears to be appropriate to help with the current situation. Though part of the community questioned his intentions, many encouraged and thanked him for his help. However, congratulations to Pak for this kind initiative.
Until now, many have contributed generously in the crypto and NFT space. For example, Pussy Riot’s, Nadya has set up UkraineDAO to raise funds for Ukrainians. Amid others, Binance’s CZ and Tron’s Justin Sun have shown a desire to donate. Also, Polkadot’s Gavin Wood asked a DOT link to donate $5 million.

Regarding that the crypto and NFT space constantly promote their community’s first mantra, it is certainly encouraging to see everyone from usual atmosphere to crypto billionaires attend this act.

Those who are interested can refer to the official tweet to receive the donation addresses.
