Nicklaus Companies and Soul Machines have released an NFT collection honoring Jack Nicklaus' legacy

Nicklaus Companies and Soul Machines have announced the historic first release of an exclusive NFT collection honoring Jack Nicklaus’ legacy, which was reborn in web3. The set has 18 tokens, and on each one, Digital Jack talks for 30 seconds about one of Jack Nicklaus’s 18 championship wins. The Golden Bear Club is an NFT project that connects superfans to exclusive digital and in-person experiences, with Digital Jack at the center. Owners can become founding members of the club. Through the Golden Bear website and Premint, owners can sign up for the NFT. Through the Digital Jack NFT, fans can unlock and own memories of Jack Nicklaus, the best golfer of all time and the first athlete in the world to have an AI-driven Digital Twin that moves on its own. This is made possible by Soul Machines’ cutting-edge technology.

Nicklaus Companies will take care of the NFT collection forever. It will be released on the Aspen NFT Marketplace with terms and conditions that can be changed and are stored on the blockchain. Other perks of the purchase include signed memorabilia, exclusive Jack Nicklaus® merchandise, and a $15,000 invitation to the 2023 Jack Nicklaus International Invitational Tournament Experience, which includes VIP hospitality tickets and two days of 18-hole rounds of golf at a Jack Nicklaus-designed signature golf course.

The NFT collection is the latest result of Nicklaus Companies’ partnership with Soul Machines, which was the first company to make Digital Celebrities that move on their own in the metaverse and in the digital worlds of today. In 2021, Soul Machines and Nicklaus Companies worked together to make Digital Jack, a digital version of Jack Nicklaus that moves on its own and is reimagined as a 38-year-old man at the top of his record-setting golf career. Soul Machines is now using its deep-tech research and advanced motion capture technology to give each of the 18 NFTs in the collection Digital Jack’s real look, facial movements, and way of moving.

Howard Milstein, Executive Chairman of the Nicklaus Companies, said that “When Jack and I first became partners, a main focus of our mission was to institutionalize the brand and enhance his legacy for future generations,” said Howard Milstein, Executive Chairman of the Nicklaus Companies. “Soul Machines and Greg Cross are world leaders in this innovative technology. Our latest collaboration not only enhances the way Jack’s fans engage with him today, but also opens the door to a new generation of sports lovers looking to learn about golf from the best to ever play the game.”

Greg Cross, CEO of Soul Machines, said, “We’re excited to build on our partnership with the Nicklaus team and expand the capabilities of our AI technology across both blockchain and the metaverse,” said Greg Cross, CEO of Soul Machines. “This NFT collection broadens the reach of Digital Jack, offering access to his memories, wisdom, and charisma on a global scale, and furthers Soul Machines’ goal to provide unique, one-on-one user experiences in our increasingly digital world.”
