Rap superstar, Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity to launch an NFT project. On November 8, she released the pre-sale of “Happy Hippos” through Twitter. The complete set of 8888 Happy Hippos will sell for 0.088 ETH later in the current month. They are available exclusively on the new NFT marketplace, infinity 8.
This seems to be the star’s first step into NFTs. In the tweet, Nicki Minaj instructs her 21.3 million followers to help save this endangered species through the power of the NFTs. Her tweet referred to 8 pages of Happy Hippos and Infinity Rhino.
The productive project is the only project now available on the infinity 8 platform, that lists 15 1-of-1 artwork as well. Actually, the project and the marketplace appear to be closely related. An infinity 8 email is even provided as contact information in the Frequently Asked Questions section on the Happy Hippos’ website. The infinity 8 website features the project, with small Hippo series organized by color on the land page.
