A tweet thread from the NFT market says that OpenSea will start to work with the Layer 2 scaling network Arbitrum on Wednesday.
OpenSea says that this is the first step toward their vision of a web3 future where users can access the NFTs they want on the chains they like best.
1/ We’re excited to share that OpenSea will soon support @arbitrum! 💙🚀— OpenSea (@opensea) September 20, 2022
This is a first step in building our goal of a web3 future where people have access to the NFTs they want on the chains they prefer.
Arbitrum is part of a “rollup” of scaling networks for Ethereum. As was already said, Nitro is a new chain that was just added to the Arbitrum network.
Last year, OpenSea connected with Immutable X and then moved to integrate with Layer 2 protocols.
