The V1s, according to LarvaLabs, the business that created the series, “are not official Cryptopunks,” although they do have a Cryptopunk-like appearance.This may be the first time you’ve heard of the CryptoPunks V1Even only a few weeks ago, V1 CryptoPunks was a relatively unknown band. Tokens issued by the initiative might be exchanged for as little as a few Ethereum.

Wrapped CryptoPunks V1, the little-known first release of CryptoPunks, is the subject of this project. The initial CryptoPunks NFT was issued by LarvaLabs in 2017, however it was shortly suspended and considered inauthentic when it was revealed that when people purchased these Punks, they could withdraw their own funds, thus stealing the Punk NFT.

The CryptoPunks V1s were still alive and well, but they were unable to trade since Open Sea had banned them from doing so. Nonetheless,on the marketplace,LooksRare.org ,these growing NFTs have earned a total of 307.44 ETH in sales.

Several people in the NFT community have complained about it . they said that the contract code isn’t going to change. So you can only make changes to a contract after it has been activated by calling the self-destruct function if there is one, and only if there is one. because both of the two Crytopunk contracts has.

The creator of the CryptoPunks project, Matt Hall, has indicated on Discord that Larva Labs wants to sue the new project. But on Wednesday, co-founder Matt Hall apologized and said “We thought that by announcing our intentions and selling some of the tokens, we would signal our distaste for it, and maybe others would follow. That was a bad decision. We regret it, and we apologize to the community.”
