Plans for NFT integration with Facebook & Instagram

Metaverse may soon allow you to trade, display, and mint NFTs on Instagram and Facebook, according to a new Financial Times report.

Mosseri said in an Instagram story posted Saturday : “Nothing to announce yet, but we are definitely actively exploring NFTs and how we can make them more accessible to a wider audience.”

He didn’t share more details however it seems that Instagram is going to provide tools which users could showcase their NFTs they have created and also they can follow creators.

From July when the Facebook rebranded to “Meta”, it has made the world shocked by introducing a new world where you can work, play or to have an interactive relationship digitally with others using avatars.

There are some features shared by Alessandra Paluzzi App developer, that shows how users are able to make bids for NFTs directly on Instagram.
Instagram posts may have another icon like “collectible” lable, it gives access to users to see an NFT held by a user.
