Pussy Riot Member Nadya vows to drop NFTs for Ukraine

Pussy Riot’s Nadezhda Tolokonikova has set up a new Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) called UkraineDAO, to raise funds for Ukrainians. Tolokonnikova released the organization with FreeRossDAO’s Alona, PleasrDAO’s CryptoStΞvΞ, and Trippy of Trippy Labs. This collaboration will also help bring together the communities of each of the DAOs.

“Our aim is to raise funds to donate to Ukrainian civilian organizations who aid those who have survived Putin’s war in Ukraine,” Tolokonikova tweeted.
Along with the others, Tolokonnikova dropped an NFT at 12pm on Saturday to raise funds for war-torn Ukrainians. UkraineDAO’s drop has a 1/1 NFT flag of Ukraine. Besides, the organization has released a PartyBid tool which allows groups of individuals to bid collectively on the NFT and gain ownership of a NFT deficit. Mainly, this permits anyone who wants to donate in any amount to participate in the auction. Instead, all participants will get a POAP.

“We deliberately avoided adding our art to this version, as this artistic statement is our strong concept,” Tolokonnikova said. “People can have various aesthetics, but it does not matter what color we prefer, it is about unity to protect lives. The Ukrainian flag unites us.

This release will be live just for 3 days. If you want to submit your bid, go to www.ukrainedao.love. Or, you can donate to DAO directly through UkraineDAO.eth.
