Indian filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma, is the recent South Asian country to enter the NFT scene with dangerous film. As stated by Varma, Dangerous movie is India’s first NFT movie. Users can now purchase a number of “Danger tokens” to share or purchase “the entire asset” of the movie.
In accordance to the RGV Danger token site, the value of the Dangerous NFT movie is 600,000 units. All the units cost INR 100(about $1.33 at the time of writing). While the manager and his team have 100,000 units, investors can purchase the remaining units. In addition, the investors will receive a share of income depending on the units in which they have invested.
“I realized that there are a numerous parts of an entertainment product that can be built, where NFT comes in,” Varma said about his foray into the NFT space.
NFTs have recently become popular in India, and many Bollywood stars have dropping their NFTs. Actors such as Salman Khan, Sunny Leone, and Amitabh Bachchan has already launched their NFTs. Moreover, Chingari’s short video platform launched its NFT marketplace and GARI token in the current month.
