Snoop Dogg is releasing his new album, B.O.D.R. (Bacc on Death Row), on the blockchain. Due to an agreement with blockchain gaming platform Gala Games, Snoop’s NFT LP comes with three extra tracks. The Stash Box of NFTs will be available on Gala Music on Wednesday, February 9, at 4:20 p.m. PST, which is the right time for Snoop.

If there is one thing that will never change in the music business, Snoop Dogg says, “It is the fact that the music business will always change.” “Blockchain technology has the power to change everything again, giving the artists and the fans a better chance. We’re going to be at the front of the pack with this Gala Music partnership.”

Snoop Dogg will offer his fans ownership of his upcoming album in the form of NFT

It costs $5,000 to get one of the Snoop Stash Boxes that are only 25,000 of them. Only 1,470 copies of each song will be in the Stash Box, which has one of the 17 track NFTs from B.O.D.R. Each song will only have 1,470 copies in the Stash Box. Sunday at midnight PST will be the last day of the deal (PST). It will also show up on February 11 in a design that isn’t NFT, but it will be different.

This isn’t Snoop’s first foray into the NFT world. He just announced that he has bought the Death Row Records brand, which is where he got his start in the hip-hop industry.

The NFT “Stash Box” version of the CD included three more tracks for a premium price of $5,000. At this point, about 10,000 box sets have been sold. This comes out to about $50 million in the end. If all 25,000 copies are sold, Snoop will make $125 million.

Snoop Dogg told Rolling stone: “Blockchain technology has the power to change everything again and tip the table in favor of artists and fans, and we are going to be at the fore of the pack with this gala music deal.”
