The Bored Ape Yacht Club and Superplastic have just formed a partnership. NFT Twitter, it’s safe to guess, has responded enthusiastically to the announcement, with many people expressing their delight at the collaboration.
According to the official website, Superplastic will produce the first official Bored Ape Yacht Club vinyl figurines. There will be several hues available, as well as special editions created just for the BAYC community. Superplastic and BAYC have not revealed any details. Regardless, based on the little description, this collaboration will undoubtedly be a hit!
About Superplastic
Superplastic is a global entertainment firm that specializes in representing cartoon celebrities and influencers. Janky & Guggimon, Dayzee & Staxx, Kranky, and ShüDog are among the artists on its list. It’s becoming more popular, and it’s been labeled the “next Disney, Marvel, and Supreme United.”
Superplastic is recognized for creating unique character goods in addition to keeping the characters’ identities. Since its launch in 2018, the company has sold the vast majority of its drops in a matter of minutes. Gorillaz, Rico Nasty, J. Balvin, and Steve Aoki were among the real-life celebrities that took notice.
The next phase of BAYC
Because BAYC has already established itself as one of the metaverse’s finest NFT collections, this collaboration makes perfect sense. Yuga Labs, the company behind BAYC, is also expanding, having just acquired Larva Labs’ CryptoPunks and Meebits collections. As a consequence, the BAYC brand seems to be spreading throughout the metaverse and beyond.
