Tarantino NFTs sold at auction for $1.1 million

SCRT Laboratory revealed the previous day that its initial Quentin Tarantino NFTs was sold at auction for $1.1 million. The NFT is named “Royale with Cheese”, that is related to a scene written from Tarantino’s fictional script. In addition, the auction was very successful as planned, despite protests from the Pulp Fiction production company Miramax.
The four-day Royal Cheese Auction occurred from January 17th to 21st. The SCRT laboratory then confirmed the winning bid for Tarantino’s first NFTs on January 24.

Significantly, SCRT Labs revealed that the winning auction bid for Tarantino NFT related to AnonDao. Appropriately, AnonDao is formed of holders of Anon NFTs, the initial PFP series on Secret Network.

NFT Evening interviewed SCRT Labs founder and CEO, Guy Zyskind about the historic sale and its significance for the Secret Network as a general. He referred to the poetic nature of that group to assemble the winning bid for Tarantino’s initial NFT.

“Surprisingly, they raised a lot of money, which put them in the same Pleasr DAO league. And I do not know if there are many NFT DAOs outside of ETH, THUS, it’s really remarkable to see that”.
