Team17 cancels Metaworms NFT project

Team17 cancels Metaworms NFT project

In a stunning turnaround, Team 17 revealed the previous day that they are not working on the MetaWorms NFT project anymore. It appears that the decision to stop the collaboration project between Reality Gaming Group and Team17 depends on different reasons.
Finally, Team 17 made the decision after discussion with their community.

In an announcement issued by Team17, the company said that “Team 17 today is going to stop MetaWorms NFT project. We have listened to our workmates, development partners, and our game’s communities, and the concerns they have shown. Thus, we decided to move back from the NFT project.

It would be great to see a MetaWorms NFT project. Moreover, it is remarkable to see a company listening to their community for a transform.
Team17 is a British game founder and producer who founded Worms in 1994. Thereafter, the game has become a very famous game that spans three decades, among generations of games lovers. This game has a principle status and is still going great.

The worm project plans were called NFT MetaWorms and planned to celebrate nearly thirty years of the Worms games.
Ultimately, this shows that the NFT community is already in its infancy. Though every company around the world is stepping into this space, there are many doubts about NFTs. With the disappearance of MetaWorms, we need to find ways to motivate people to learn and join the NFT world.
