The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team and Crypto.com have announced the first NFT drop of the 2022 season

Sustainability

As part of the launch of the AMR22, AMF1 and worldwide partner Crypto.com are bringing fans closer to the world of international motorsport.
Fans may purchase digital replicas of the freshly announced machine on Crypto.com NFT, which will be piloted by Lance Stroll and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel this year in the FIA Formula One World Championship. AMF1’s engineering prowess is shown.

In anticipation of the 2022 season, this year’s new technology solutions have attracted a lot of attention. Engineers and aerodynamicists have been urged to optimise their vehicles for this year’s racing season, which begins March 20 in Bahrain. This enhanced attention on engineering prompted AMF1’s new NFTs, which concentrate on the front wing, rear wing, steering wheel, and halo. To create each piece, the team used data from their design office.

Scaled NFT assets and unique collectible

NFT drops are divided into three tiers: Accelerate, Slipstream, and Velocity, with increasing exclusivity and pricing points. Fans who acquire all four NFTs will be able to unlock a limited-edition AMR22 model. The Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team was one of Crypto.com NFT’s top producers in 2021, earning over $200,000 from the first NFT release. All Crypto.com NFT collectors who possess an original asset at the snapshot date will get a free NFT.

Sustainability

Sustainability has been at the heart of this year’s NFT collection. In order to create more effective and sustainable solutions – both for our own company and in conjunction with our worldwide partners and suppliers – the team may utilise the same resources. The team is proud to be working with Crypto.com, which has announced ambitions to become carbon-neutral in phases.

To quote the team’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rob Bloom:

“Our first NFT drop of the 2022 season builds on the foundations we established with Crypto.com NFT at the beginning of last year, when we gave fans the chance to own the first new footage of an Aston Martin grand prix car on-track for more than six decades. This year, we further embraced the concept, conceiving and building four unique and collectible assets that showcase the incredible design and engineering of the AMR22 car and its components, as well as an additional unlockable only available to fans who have purchased all four original pieces.”

“As a special thank-you for their early support, initial owners of last year’s NFTs will be gifted one of this year’s pieces.”

“We’re excited to see how this new collection is received.”

Joe Conyers III, EVP and Global Head of NFT Crypto.com:

“We’re pleased to be partnering with the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula OneTM Team on an even more ambitious collection of NFTs ahead of the 2022 Formula One season.”

In light of this year’s significant regulation changes, we wanted to concentrate on the aerodynamic and technical solutions that support this fascinating sport.

“The final product is a collection of beautifully created NFT assets that really capture the AMR22’s technical expertise.”

The NFT drop is a terrific method to create enthusiasm and anticipation for another spectacular season.
