John Lennon’s son has decided to put on sale some items of Beatles as NFTs but not their physical items.
This NFT collection includes the clothes John Wore during his tenture in The Beatles and Paul McCartney’s handwritten notes for “Hey Jude” song. The starting bids for the cape worn by John Lennon in “Help” movie is $8000
and $3000 for the handwritten notes as well as $6000 for an Afghan coat. There are some guitars belonged to John Lennon with the start bid of $4000.
Julien Lennon, John Lennon’s eldest son, is going to set auction on the Beatles NFTs on February 7 on NFT marketplace YellowHeart. A portion of this Sale will be donated to the White Feature Foundation with the purpose of countervailing carbon using blockchain-based marketplace Nori.
“I’ve been collecting these items for about 30 years and I was getting a bit fed up with them being locked away in the vault, where I’ve had to keep them because I didn’t want them to get damaged,” said Julien.
