The Chainsmoker probably step into NFTs

The previous day, electronic duo The Chainsmokers set crypto Twitterers’ tongues talking after showing interest in NFTs. Their mysterious tweet surprised CryptoTwitter and Chainsmokers fans whether the two would release an NFT version shortly.
The Chainsmokers are Alexander “Alex” Pall and Andrew “Drew” Taggart. The two EDM-pop successfully broke the chart in 2014 with “# Selfie”. Since then, they have gone from power to power. With three successful albums and many partnerships.

In 2020, The Chainsmokers revealed that they were taking a break from social media to concentrate on their upcoming chapter in music. In the last few months, anyway, they have frequently used social media to joke that a new album is under construction. This NFT-related tweet could be part of a campaign to promote their next album.

Taking into account the popularity of NFTs in the DJ community, we can say that a Chainsmokers NFT project or partnership is so expected.

Another essential thing is that the two DJs firstly had a contract with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak brand and had cooperated tightly with him before. As everyone engaged in the NFT world knows, Steve Aoki is a big fan of NFTs.

He was one of the first NFT acceptors and now has an important NFT series worth about $3.15 million. He is one of the founders of Oddkey, a new NFT marketplace which puts artists controling their digital art and give the fans the chance to resell NFTs at a low cost.
