After presenting the Bitcoin tipping feature on its platform in the last week, Twitter reported it was also working on the NFT feature. A developer in the giant microblogging company a few days ago shared a sneak peek of the mentioned feature, saying that the platform would see NFT verification in the near future.
Twitter software engineer described the way this feature will act. He said that the users can click on their avatar and choose an NFT from their crypto wallet.
The users will be redirected to OpenSea marketplace, to download their NFTs and add it to their avatar. It will have the usual blue checkmark which shows that they are the true owners of the image.
Aflak stressed that this was just a demo of the feature, as it can still be an issue to change because it’s not the end.
Twitter is aiming to authenticate each NFT that could be attached to each profile, and thus, nobody can use any NFT image as their profile photo.
