Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced on Twitter that they decided to cancel Airdrop supporting their armed force, and would release the NFT series.
The change in their decision provoked numerous reactions from the NFT and cryptocurrency community. Most of them were positive and supported the Ukrainian government. Some even suggested that the series have the most wonderful parts of Ukraine, wishing to offer tourism to Ukraine after the end of the war. Others want to see their war heroes as NFTs otherwise.
Anyway, some people were disappointed and expressed their views and called for this move. Tron Founder Justin Sun lately shared the view that it is not unfair that the TRON community did not receive any airdrop after donating over $1.3 million. Many NFT influencers called him out and asked him to think more about those suffering in Ukraine than the airdrop.
There is no certain date of the announcement of the NFT series, but the crypto community agrees to back Ukraine, either by supporting Ukrainian NFT artists or by donating crypto to the official Ukrainian wallet addresses.
