Today, The Sandbox and Warner Music Group (WMG) have revealed a great collaboration. Both of them will make the initial music world in The Sandbox. This announcement is WMG’s initial access into metaverse and another major collaboration for The Sandbox
Warner Music group’s LAND in The Sandbox will be a combination of a theme park and a concert place. This means that the two groups will work with each other to create charming musical experiences in the metaverse. Thus, WMG artists can interact with fans around the world in creative and interesting ways.
Undoubtedly, Warner Music Team is one of the largest music companies worldwide. In fact, it ranks some top music companies under major companies such as Warner Records, Elektra, Parlophone, and Atlantic. To mention only a few superstars, there are Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, David Guetta, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This news indicates that The Sandbox will presently work with WMG to bring its list of great talents to The Sandbox. Consequently, we will see more live events and experiences occurring in the metaverse with some of the world’s greatest musicians.
Oana Roxandra, Senior Director of Digital and EVP Business Development at Warner Music Group, talks about this collaboration:
“Our collaboration with The Sandbox adds a new layer of potential to the metaverse.” She adds that WMG and The Sandbox will create experiences that will “ignore the limitations of the real world and allow our artists and their fans to engage as never previously.”
