When Yuga Labs bought Meebits, it did it as fans with the intention of elevating the collection and community. They are DELIGHTED and INSPIRED by your inventiveness, and they wanted to preserve and cultivate the Meeb enchantment, as opposed to rushing into action for the sake of doing anything.
They’ve been hard at work in the shadows, lurking, conversing, experimenting, and constructing while muttering about voxels in our sleep. They’ve also assembled an outstanding team for the Meebs, consisting of bright creative minds and Meebits community diehards.
To keep this Meeb party going (and continuing and going), Yuga Labs will get a 5% royalty on secondary sales of Meebits (on OpenSea, LooksRare, etc.) in the future. Immediate implementation will commence.
What are they constructing then? Their goal for Meebits is centered on embracing and amplifying the currents that are currently central to the community: play, DIY experimentation, tech simplicity, and interoperability.
